Hello, My name is Kimberly Tardy. I first started my journey into birth work as a pharmacist for over 10 years. I gave birth to my son in 2010. Having such a unique and beautiful birth with an awesome doula. I began to find my true calling. After attending training and getting certified, I opened up my own private practice in 2012. There I work as a full-spectrum doula and Lactation Counselor. Several times, I have been featured on our local news station, educating the public on doulas and breastfeeding. As well as our local TV public broadcasting station MPB on the Southern Remedy Show. To this date, I have assisted over 500 families in childbirth education, breastfeeding, doula support, and infant care.

I’m Angel, a dedicated doula whose career began in 2007 after my training with MaternityWise. Inspired by my own experiences as a new mother, I set out to bridge the support gaps for new families. I expanded my expertise to include labor support through DONA training in 2012. I spent several years coordinating care within a doula organization, where I also deepened my skills in lactation education and infant care. After relocating, I continued my work remotely and established my own business, serving a diverse mix of private clients and referrals. I am also a board member of Postpartum Support International and volunteer as a coordinator for their region. My approach is holistic—I teach childbirth and breastfeeding classes and advocate for healthy sleep strategies from birth, all to empower new parents to trust their instincts and confidently embrace their new roles in parenthood

I have been a birth doula for 16 years, serving nearly 300 families to date. Although I’ve been involved in postpartum care for a decade, I became formally certified in 2019. My background includes experience as a homebirth assistant, where I taught childbirth education (CBE) and breastfeeding (BF) classes. I am a Billie Harrigan’s Traditional Birth Companion course graduate and a trauma-informed professional certified through Birth Trauma Ontario. Additionally, I am a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist and a Sacred Postpartum Specialist. I am also trained in Clinical Aromatherapy for Women’s Health, which enriches my holistic approach to supporting women throughout their maternity journey.
